About Me

Jose Sergio Bohon is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® certificant with four decades of experience helping individuals, families, business owners, and nonprofit organizations navigate complex financial decisions. He joined Stifel in 2025 after serving clients in advisory and leadership roles with Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo Advisors.

Beyond his professional career, Sergio is deeply committed to strengthening communities throughout the Inland Empire through philanthropy and nonprofit leadership. He is a Past Chair of the Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF) Board of Directors and currently serves as Board Emeritus Co-Chair, continuing to support the Foundation's mission of improving quality of life across the region by inspiring generosity, building endowments, and fostering strategic partnerships.

Sergio and his family have also established a scholarship fund at Chaffey College, reflecting their commitment to expanding educational opportunities for students facing financial challenges.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Management and Human Resources from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning.

Sergio is grateful to share life with his wonderful wife and four daughters. Outside of his professional and volunteer commitments, he enjoys flying his own plane, long-distance running, Tai Chi, and kayak fishing.
